Well it's been a very busy few weeks! I have lost 27# so far on WW. Fit into a 12! It's been a while since I saw that size. And it's about time to do some shopping.
We bought a home and just moved last week. It is mind blowing the stuff that gathers over the years! My new place has a great yard and I'm so excited to plant flowers :)
Well today I turned the big 3-0!!! And I'm excited at what this year will bring!! I've been so blessed with my amazing family and life! I'm soon going to pick out a 1/2 marathon and work towards that goal. I have 35# left to lose and I will be at my weightloss goal!!!!

WI
Well my WI this last Friday was great!! I lost 1.4# for a total of 19.6 # over the last 15 weeks. I also made my 10%!! I woul so love to lose another at least 10# by my birthday August 22nd. Looking back since I had Maddy I have lost 50#!!!!! The first 30# came of in 3 weeks then it was up and down until WW! I haven't had time to run or even exercise much lately due to chasing my older two with baseball only a few more weeks of it and I'll see we're I'm at then lol!

WI
Well last week I gained 0.4#. This week I had a loss of 1.4#. 18.2# in 14 weeks. And less than 1# away from pre maddy and 10%! I love this new WW program. I've actually been able to stick with it and it's become second nature to look for fruits and veggies for snacks and to eat. I'm so glad for my progress the last 2 weeks with all that's going on around here. My FIL had a stent placed and my Grandma had a triple bypass. Thankfully both are doing well! God is merciful!

WI!!!
Well WI was yesterday and I lost 4.2#'s for a total of 17.2#. I was so surprised! I had gotten back in my old habit of weighing every five seconds so this week I put my scale up. I found myself heading for it several times. Im trying not to be a slave to the scale!
I changed up breakfast this past week and instead of having a green monster every morning I had a bagel thin with either WW cream cheese or with the laughing cow cream cheese. I did that with wheat toast today and it actually tasted better and the same points, lol!
I've been trying to get in activity whenever and wherever. Which sometimes is during the older 2 baseball practice since Maddy does not enjoy just sitting for over an hour.
I finally downloaded a NKJ bible app from youversion.com and picked 2 reading plans. One is read the bible in 90 days and another is one for busy women. A great friend of mine has been posting about this app so I decided to try it. It has been very handy with actually getting to read because I can do it during one of Maddy's many eating sessions!

Jellybeans
Well this weeks WI was a 0# loss. I'm ok with it. Thankfully there wasn't a gain! I really struggled this week and consumed a whole HUGE bag of jelly beans. I bought 3 bags and now that I think of it I may have eaten 2!!!! There is only one left. I'm not sure, which is never good! I am not buying them anymore! I'm not even a candy person but I like the tartness of them and apparently can't control myself lol!
On a good note I was able to run 3 times this week and the walking is less and running is faster. Pushing a 20+# baby in the jogger I think is helping me get stronger :).
Well here is to a new week!

WI
I can't say how happy I am to have a loss of 1.2#'s this week!! I earned 11 AP's as well. I focused on making sure I got in cardio and even managed some strength training :)
I'm also really looking forward to our Women's Day at church tomorrow. I pray it will be a blessing to all!
God continues to amaze me daily :)

Spring time = busy time
It's been crazy busy around here the last couple weeks. My little Maddy is almost 8 months old and decided at 7 months it was ok to start pulling up and cruising. Last night she let go and stood for all of 2 seconds! I can't believe how quickly timed goes. Michael and Lilly are doing great in school. Only about 4 weeks left and then it's summer break!
It's been about a week of sleep interrupted nights for me. Between the weather, family, coughing something is always waking Maddy up. Which means no sleep for mommy! I've gotten a few runs with walks in. Michael and I did a mile other evening and it was so fun! We ended up running as fast as we could, then walking until we could breathe again, then repeat! Now Lilly is waiting her turn.
I've had, at least for me, some disappointing weigh ins lately. I had 2 0.6 the last 2 weeks. I'm hoping to have a better one this week. Last week I tried eating all my WP's so I really can't complain about a small loss. Thankful it wasn't a gain! Trying to make time for exercise. Really need to do some strength training and rebuild muscle because that will mean burning more calories :)

Words
Well today is weigh in day and I lost 2 #'s!! For a total of 10# and 5% of my body weight :) I'm a happy girl!
Maddy and I got out early this morning for our walk/run and did 2 miles. She fell asleep so I guess that means she is loving it! I was running the last 1/2 mile back to the house and rolled my ankle and almost wrecked poor Maddy. Thankfully all seems ok and I finished my run. Sage and Rooster (German Shepherd and Mini Aussie) go along as well. I am sure we look like the running circus but, hey, it's good for all of us!
And on to my current favorite book: "A Woman After God's Own Heart" A Heart That Shows it Cares. "Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord" 1 Corinthians 15:58. This chapter talks about learning to reach out. Being a giver, being bold, and being a generous soul! It is amazing how we touch another life by our own actions. It is up to us if that experience is good or bad. We are doing a women's day in church soon and the topic is Silver boxes, Gifts of the spoken word. How fitting! Just by our words alone we affect someone else. Our words alone could lift someone up or crush them, again its up to us. Lift someone up today!

All about my numbers
So this is where I will confess my weight and all the details. The lowest I have ever weighed was around 105#. That's a number I don't care to see again. Too skinny for me! I'm pretty happy around 130-140#. The most I have ever weighed was with Maddy 223# on delivery day. Michael and Lilly were both 206# and 203#. I lost weight fine after both of them. But gained after decided to have another baby. Guess I was practicing "eating for two". I gained after I stopped nursing Lilly because I sadly did not reduce what I was eating and woke up one day at 180#. Was losing the weight great and then our little surprise came along. After I had Maddy I lost 30#'s right away and the last 15# just weren't budging even with nursing. Today I weighed 190.2# (why is it so hard to admit those numbers) size 14. Which is crazily the jean size I was in before Maddy but I weighed 175 ish.
I lost 3#'s this week. I was surprised when I weighed. I haven't been using my extra weekly pts but for a couple treats. Sadly still haven't found exercise time. But hopefully soon.
So here are some numbers I like. My goal weight is like I said before 130-140#. Puts me around a size 5. I want to run a half marathon before I turn 31 (I turn 30 in August). Turning 30 this year actually doesn't scare me. It's just another chapter in life.
Oh and this past weekend in the city I bought 2 dresses (gasp!) and 2 new pair of heels. They are a love of mine :)

Ready to weigh in!
I'm actually excited to weigh on Friday. I've been tracking everything and doing really well with it. I haven't had any time to exercise and I know that would help me a lot.
I'm so glad I chose WW. It's testing me what real portions look like and I'm never deprived! I'm saving my weekly points for Fried chicken and chocolate cake on Friday for Cliff's birthday dinner. It's awesome that I can have that and not wreck my diet since I'm planning ahead.
Now if I could really get some exercise in I would be a happy girl!

3 miles!
I actually made it on the treadmill today. It is the first time in around 2 weeks. Maddy has been wanting mama a lot lately and the treadmill scares her. She also doesn't sleep very well unless you are rocking her. I need an older baby swing....maybe I should invent that! But I bought her this thing called a sleep sheep and it plays white noise for up to 45 minutes. She slept for an hour in her crib!! So I took advantage and snuck onto the treadmill. I walked/ran 3 miles!!!! I have not been that far since I was first pregnant. Can't wait to be able to run the whole way and farther.
Also the scale has been whispering my name but I'm trying to ignore it until Friday. Maybe I will have a big surprise (I hope) I've been feeling great on the new WW. I actually don't feel like I'm starving.

Took a step today
Well I decided to join Weight Watchers. I've been using a couple other online sites to track calories but I've felt like I'm starving and after a few days of starving then I eat like crazy! It is harder to diet when nursing a baby because you are already hungry all the time( or I am). The crazy thing is I can fit into my jeans from pre-Maddy but I'm still 15 pounds away from pre-pregnancy weight.....I'm wondering how much is in my chest. Anyway I am so excited and I'm giving WW 3 months and then will see where I'm at (hopefully a little lighter :) ) and my goal is to lose 60# total. 45 would be ok but I'm aiming for a bit more!

Random musings
So the running thing the last week has not gone well at all.....it is so hard with my sweet, active 5 month old little miss and my 5 year old diva, and 8 year old aspiring hunter......But getting my jogging stroller ready to roll and hopefully that will help. I am trying to not get to down and I know that one day I will be able to run again and hoping that my 40 extra pounds will be gone too :) It is so hard. I have been faithfully tracking calories and out. Feeling like I'm going to starve and no budge on the scale. I think I'm going to stop weighing and just keep trying to be active and of course watching those calories.
Speaking of that. I have been making my version of "green monsters" for breakfast (spinach, carrots, strawberries, banana, little milk, greek yogurt, and sometimes flaxseed) They are fabulous! I am going to try to increase the protein in them. Bought some soy powder but I am not a big fan of soy so we will see. I heard where you can just add dry milk.... I also researched coconut milk and water today. I love coconuts and learned that you can actually use the coconut water as a natural way to rehydrate after exercise. I like that idea much better than gatorade. But I need to exercise first!
Also still planning our dream home! It is a slow process but everyday we get closer and I know to just leave it in God's hands. He has never steered us wrong yet!
Well time to get things ready to make our pizzas for tonight for my wild and crazy bunch!

I am a wife to the best guy in the world and we have 3 amazing kids. Michael 8, Lilly 5, and Maddy 6 months. I am hoping someday I might sleep through the night again. But I think when that happens...I'll have teenagers to worry about! I love Jesus and am trying to do my best daily to follow Him and His plan for my life. I also love running. though right now I know others who can walk as fast (or slow) as I currently attempt to run. I will say that trying to get back into it with an almost 6 month old who is super active (as in Mama I want you to move me place to place every 10 minutes or so and Oh by the way....I'm scared when you get on the treadmill....I'm afraid you might fall off!) is the biggest challenge....who said babies are easy hasn't met my active no sleeping bunch :) I love them though!
I also love, love photography....your pictures, my pictures, .....the neighbors! I don't know why but I love it and most of all love taking them...Hoping someday to do more with it! I finally bought photoshop and sadly have yet to have time to use it.
Well the smallest of my bunch needs mama, my 10 minutes are up!
